Introducing two new Moosescape ventures. A wildlife gallery and a full service sign company. Moosescapes is a new wildlife gallery that has a combination of my images and my friend, Dans. Go check it out here: www.moosescapes.net. Below is a slideshow of photos from our homepage.

We have also started a full service sign company which is being operated out of my studio, 560 W. Broadway, in Idaho Falls. We can design and install any type of sign or window lettering for your business in Idaho Falls, Teton Valley and Jackon. If you know anyone that needs a sign, please have them give us a call.

Macy
 Saturday, 10/17/09

Meet precious Macy. She was the happiest 9 month old I have had in a while. What a great age, no worries in the world. Her only duty was to sit, be cute and giggle, which she handled effortlessly. I love her, she is so happy!

I know I am behind on blogging...I promise to post some photos from fall in the Tetons this week. I had to show off little Macy first, can you blame me???

A beautiful family!

Isabella
 Wednesday, 9/9/09

I am proud to show off the portraits of Isabella Desiree Hartley, one of my first Idaho Falls babies. I love newborns and this was my first Idaho Falls newborn! She did not disappoint, we had a great time with this precious little girl. Her parents, Natasha and Jeremy, were great to work with and I can't wait to see her through the next year.

A perfect little angel in the tutu... she really knocked it out of the park here, one shot and we had it.

Natasha reminded me of my Dallas moms. She came in with lots of ideas and open to different things to achieve
the best photos of her baby girl. It paid off, I think we captured this unique time between mother and child in a beautiful way. This is one of my favorite photos from the session.

I love this one too... two beautiful girls.

Jeremy does not stand a chance with this one! She will be giving him this look for years to come. Go ahead and pass over your credit cards now. Put them in the crib. Here, I think she had just peed on him. :)

Born early, Isabella is making up for being small FAST! A little gerber baby...

Thanks Natasha and Jeremy! You have a beautiful family started.

Jaylyn
 Monday, 3/9/09

I am so excited to post these photos of Jaylyn. Isn't that a beautiful original name? I love newborns, they are my favorite to shoot. When the parents walk in, and that new baby is only days old, it gets me everytime. Even when they are fussy and not used to the handling a shoot requires, we just wait it out. Jaylyn was a real trooper and I love that we captured her and all that hair at this early stage.

This is one of my favorties. Those blue eyes. That innocent look and ALL THAT HAIR! Love it!

More Polar Bears coming soon, along with some Yellowstone photos. I have SUCH spring fever. I hope the forecast rain means great bluebonnets this year. Get ready for those great Texas spring thunderstorms. I LOVE THEM!

Addison is ONE
 Friday, 2/6/09

I seriously don't know how this keeps happening. How these babies.. my babies.. keep growing up. How in the world can she be ONE already????

I love Addison, and I love her parents. She in on HER schedule, the first shoot we attempted, she was not having it. We decided to stop forcing it, and try again. Second time was magic, as she was on her A game. I learned you cant tell her, or put her on the saddle, it has to be HER idea. Which of course meant I had to get on the dang saddle and act like I was having the time of my life, which resulted in her climbing right on. :)

This is the same saddle we photographed her older brother on as a newborn, just two weeks old.

This is by far my favorite photo, I may have to put this in the studio.

I love her blonde curls.

This was shot was luck. Once the kiddos can walk, we just put them very far away and pray they stay still for a nano second. Seriously, the minute the parent lets go, its a full force RUN toward the camera. I can't tell you how many photos i have of up close, on the move, one year olds.

How precious does she look in this beautiful dress?? I love it!

Was this the second or third cake? I am not sure, but it was the FIRST cake this day and she was having a good time!

Love the icing on the feet.

This is my second favorite photo from the shoot. She has so much personality here, it just screams Miss Diva.

I'll be taking this cake with me, Thank you very much....

We did these photos to get something for the bathroom walls. They had fun. Addison must have been in heaven. First you let her sit in front of a cake and devour it at will, then you let her shred, play and be unruly with toilet paper? All for the sake of a portrait!

Paxton
 Wednesday, 12/24/08

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I got to spend time with my friends, and family. I did ALL my Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve. 2 Malls ( Galleria and Northpark) Restoration Hardware, Target, Barnes and Noble. 5 hours.
Im a pro, I do not recommend others trying this. I am now at the airport heading for the traditional New Years Hawaii trip. Maybe Ill see Obama. Have a great holiday everyone!!!!!!!

I had to share these Christmas photos of little Paxton. He joined us just in time for Christmas, only two weeks old here. Paxtons mom, Rosita, was so good with him and brought these Christmas goodies. He didnt mind at all being stuffed in the stocking, but after that he was getting less and less tolerant. We had nothing but time, and as he finally dozed, he was the perfect model.

This is one of my favorites, its so sweet and innocent. Could there be a better gift?

There is no doubt, this boy is going to be spoiled. She watched over him at every second and did not like him being upset at any time. I assured her he would never remember the crazy things we were doing.

I love this photo also. Babies feet are the cutest.

The entire family, so very photogenic.

jackson
 Tuesday, 12/2/08

Meet Jackson, two weeks old at the time of these photos. Jackson was adorable, with his full head of hair and cuddly roles. I don't think we give newborns enough credit, they are much more observant than we think. When Nicole and her husband brought Jackson in for his shoot, they were concerned he might pee on the background. I assured her ALL of the babies wizz everywhere, do not worry, these backgrounds and blankets are washed many times during a week. In fact, we have had some babies set records and no way could cute little Jackson go that much. Think again, he must be a future athlete. He heard us challenging him and he was prepared to meet that challenge. I am not sure if he broke any records, but he had his parents on their toes. He did not like being naked either. Can you blame him? He knows these photos will one day come back to haunt him.

He was a trooper and we captured some adorable shots.

I love this expression he has. Deep in thought??? "Should I wizz on mom ONE more time??? Or give her a break?" haha

This is one of my favorites.

Nayan
 Thursday, 11/20/08

Here is little Nayan. All of 18 months old. Perhaps the HARDEST age to photograph of all babies. However, its when they are really exploring the world, learning their limits and testing the waters. ( I never went through that, right Mom????) I think I hit this stage at 18 months and um maybe 16. Nayan had places to be, and really didn't have time for us to take his photo. ( Kinda like me at 16)

We tricked him. Let him play in the water, and sang some songs. If only my parents had a pool when I was 16, I would have been home and happy all the time! haha

I love his curls!!! They are precious, I am so glad they let his hair grow and embraced his waves.

Here is little Nayan when he came in as a newbie. This was before he knew how to scream. He is just as adorable now as he was then.

threes company
 Tuesday, 11/18/08

I know I am way behind on blogging. I have a really good excuse, I was laying on the beach in Hawaii. Trust me, all of my friends have given me enough grief about this, so save it. haha. Im paying the price now, catching up. After returning from Hawaii, I went to the Madonna concert with friends. I will have the photos that made the cut posted in the next couple of days. Then more babies to blog, I have a ton of sessions to share.

I could not wait to post these photos of the Love Triplets. I have posted their big sister Aidyn here many times from her first year sessions, and they decided to expand the family, what a surprise they tripled it! I know it has been beyond stressful with four kiddos under two. When you see these girls, you realize what a special gift they were given. Its going to be an entertaining household when they are all teenagers! They are very lucky to have four beautiful girls.

I could not resist the Polar Bear shot. Three naked babies all at once, we had to try it. It was an event, when the girls were being perfect, Barry and Barry would just tumble over or not smile. I think the bears are trying to work me for more money now that they are so sought after. They have gone Hollywood on me.

I showed those diva bears, we just turned the girls into Polar Bears! These outfits are from Baby Gap. They are so adorable, it almost makes you want to have a baby. Almost.

Mia was the best model. She would have sat here all day posing with the bears in her outfit. She is so cute!

Two more of Mia. I love her expression in this black and white one. And the second one, she was always standing up like this. She will be crawling in no time.

Jillian! I love that name. Showing us her best pose. She was so happy, just rolling all over the floor, playing with her toes, hamming it up for the camera.

Here is little Ainslee. She looks identical to Jillian, I could not tell them apart. And they both look like Aidyn, below.

Divas

These outfits were adorable.

This is big sister Aidyn, now two, at her nine month session. I can't believe how much the girls look like her!!!! When they walked in with the entire family, I instantly said they look JUST LIKE Aidyn did. Now Aidyn has cute curls and is very much two years old. She is just an angel with a little Dora the Explorer on and I think she will be a wonderful big sister.

Lola is ONE
 Monday, 10/27/08

Lola is... I can't believe it... Its hard to type... ONE!!!!!!! How did this happen? How did Lola turn One? She was just 3 months old yesterday! I refuse to accept that Misty's babies are growing up. Lets start the petition for her to have more. More chunky cute babies, PLEASE! We went to the arboretum to shoot.. you know the mommy and me day I referred to a few posts back. I recovered from the event and am not pregnant from exposure to so many mini vans.

Here is little Lola.

And big sister Lilli who has grow up before our eyes on the website. This was the shot where she actually stood still for a half of a second. Oh to be three and a free spirit. Happy Birthday Lola!!!!!
